قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: مَا تَشَاوَرَ قَوْمٌ إِلَّا هُدُوا إِلَى رُشْدِهِمْ.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said: "No nation has consulted but because of this discussion, they were guided towards the good deeds." (Doing discussion from honest and intelligent person is the reason of guidance for people)

Thanksgiving Blessings / Downfall
قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: اللُّؤْمُ أَنْ لَا تَشْكُرَ النِّعْمَةَ.
Imam Hassan Mujtaba said: Not thanking for blessings may become the reason for declining of your character.

Friendship / Love
قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: الْقَرِيبُ مَنْ قَرَّبَتْهُ الْمَوَدَّةُ وَ إِنْ بَعُدَ نَسَبُهُ وَ الْبَعِيدُ مَنْ بَاعَدَتْهُ الْمَوَدَّةُ وَ إِنْ قَرُبَ نَسَبُهُ لَا شَيْءَ أَقْرَبُ مِنْ يَدٍ إِلَى جَسَدٍ وَ إِنَّ الْيَدَ تَفَلُّ فَتُقْطَعُ وَ تُحْسَمُ.
Imam Hassan Mujtaba said: "The relative of the person is the person who is his close friend even though he is far away from him (means there is a relation of love and friendship between them), if they are close in relation but there is not love or friendship between them. Nothing is near man's body than human hands, but when hand gets paralysed, they are cut off.

قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: مَنْ أَدَامَ الِاخْتِلَافَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَصَابَ إِحْدَى ثَمَانٍ آيَةً مُحْكَمَةً وَ أَخاً مُسْتَفَاداً وَ عِلْماً مُسْتَطْرَفاً وَ رَحْمَةً مُنْتَظِرَةً وَ كَلِمَةً تَدُلُّهُ عَلَى الْهُدَى أَوْ تَرُدُّهُ عَنْ رَدًى وَ تَرْكَ الذُّنُوبِ حَيَاءً أَوْ خَشْيَةً.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said: "The people who constantly visits in the mosque, one of the benefits of eight benefits are definitely are: 1. Education of Principles of Faith 2. useful Friends 3. To learn modern knowledge 4. Mercy which is waiting for him 5. useful thing which takais him towards guidance 6. The thing which stops him from destruction

قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: إِذَا لَقِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُقَبِّلْ مَوْضِعَ النُّورِ مِنْ جَبْهَتِهِ.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said: "Whenever you meet your religious brother, then its obligatory on you to kiss on his forehead.

How to make friends / quality of friendship
قَالَ قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لِبَعْضِ وُلْدِهِ: يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُؤَاخِ أَحَداً حَتَّى تَعْرِفَ مَوَارِدَهُ وَ مَصَادِرَهُ فَإِذَا اسْتَنْبَطْتَ الْخِبْرَةَ وَ رَضِيتَ الْعِشْرَةَ فَآخِهِ عَلَى إِقَالَةِ الْعَثْرَةِ وَ الْمُوَاسَاةِ فِي الْعُسْرَةِ.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said to some of his sons: "O dear son! Do not make friends with anyone until you know that where he goes and he comes from (with what people he use to sit and meet) when you fully understand him and accepts his society so make him your brother so forgive his bad deeds and help him in his trouble.

Khilafah / reconciliation of Imam Hassan
عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ علیهما السلام حِينَ صَالَحَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بِالنُّخَيْلَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ قُمْ فَأَخْبِرِ النَّاسَ أَنَّكَ تَرَكْتَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ وَ سَلَّمْتَهُ إِلَيَّ فَقَامَ الْحَسَنُ ع فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَ أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ أَكْيَسَ الْكَيْسِ التُّقَى وَ أَحْمَقَ الْحُمْقِ الْفُجُورُ وَ إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفْتُ فِيهِ أَنَا وَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ حَقَّ امْرِئٍ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ مِنِّي وَ إِمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ حَقّاً لِي فَقَدْ تَرَكْتُهُ إِرَادَةَ إِصْلَاحِ الْأُمَّةِ وَ حَقْنَ دِمَائِهَا وَ إِنْ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَكُمْ وَ مَتاعٌ إِلى حِين.
Shabi says that I saw Imam Hasan Mujtaba (as) when he was reconciliation with Ameer E Shaam on Nakhila. Ameer E Shaam said to Imam Hassan: Stand and announce to people that you have left this Khilafah and refer it to me. Imam Hassan Mujtaba (ﷺ) stood and praised God and said: "O people, the best intelligence is to be pious. This Khilafa, on which the dispute in between me and Ameer e Sham, so if Ameer E Shaam deserves so I will accept his caliphate or elsa I deserve this caliphate. The reason I am leaving him so that I can guide the nation of my Grandfather and no blood would shed of God’s creation and I don’t know but maybe this caliphate is the examination for you.

Begrudge/ Proud/ Anger
قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: هَلَاكُ النَّاسِ فِي ثَلَاثٍ الْكِبْرِ وَ الْحِرْصِ وَ الْحَسَدِ فَالْكِبْرُ هَلَاكُ الدِّينِ وَ بِهِ لُعِنَ إِبْلِيسُ وَ الْحِرْصُ عَدُوُّ النَّفْسِ وَ بِهِ أُخْرِجَ آدَمُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ الْحَسَدُ رَائِدُ السَّوْءِ وَ مِنْهُ قَتَلَ قَابِيلُ هَابِيلَ.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said: "Destruction of man is in three things: 1. Proud 2. Anger 3. Begrudge So, proud can destroy religious believes and because of this proud, the Devil found the curse of the Lord. Anger is the enemy of man and because of this, Adam was removed from heaven and begrudge is the head of all evils and because of this Qabeel killed his brother Habeel.

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ علیهما السلام أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ لَهُ مَعَ مَلِكِ الرُّومِ إِنَّ مَلِكَ الرُّومِ سَأَلَهُ فِيمَا سَأَلَهُ عَنْ سَبْعَةِ أَشْيَاءَ خَلَقَهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَمْ تَخْرُجْ مِنْ رَحِمٍ فَقَالَ آدَمُ وَ حَوَّاءُ وَ كَبْشُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ نَاقَةُ صَالِحٍ وَ حَيَّةُ الْجَنَّةِ وَ الْغُرَابُ الَّذِي بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ يَبْحَثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِبْلِيسُ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى.
There was a question answer saission between Imam Hassan (a.s) and king of Rome. One question asked among many and that was: What are those 7 living things which came into existence without being born from mother’s stomach. Imam Hassan (a.s) said: those 7 things are: Hazrat Adam (a.s), Hazrat Hawwa (a.s), Sheep which was sent for sacrifice in place of Hazrat Ismail (a.s), Hazrat Sualeh (a.s), Snake of heaven (When Hazrat Adam (a.s) was in heaven so evil visit him in the shape of snake), the crow which was sent by God to dig earth (who taught Qabeel how to bury Habeel) and Iblees who has curse of Allah.

Good character
قَالَ الإِمَامُ الحَسَن المُجتَبَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: النَّاسُ أَرْبَعَةٌ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَهُ خُلُقٌ وَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَهُ خَلَاقٌ وَ لَا خُلُقَ لَهُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَا خُلُقَ وَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ وَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَهُ خُلُقٌ وَ خَلَاقٌ فَذَلِكَ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ.
Imam Hasan Mujtaba said: There are four types of people. One who have good character but are not wealthy as per the world, second are those who are wealthy but don’t have a good character, third are those who are not wealthy nor they have good nature and they are the worst and the forth are those who are wealthy and have good character also and they are the best.
